Worksheet makers
Spelling practice from your own word list
School spelling lists change every week, so ready-made spelling worksheets rarely match what a child needs to learn. The spelling practice maker works the other way round: type the words, and it builds the sheet.
One list gives you three kinds of practice. Missing letters makes children recall the tricky part of each word. Scrambled words makes them think about letter order. The word search is lighter, and good for the day before a test. An answer key is included.
Getting more from each list
Spread the three activities over the week instead of doing them in one sitting, and finish with a quick spoken quiz. Our weekly spelling routine lays out a day-by-day plan that takes about ten minutes a day.
