Privacy Policy

The short version
- There are no accounts. We don't ask for your name, email or anything else to use the site.
- We never ask children for information. Our games save nothing; scores disappear when the page closes.
- We use Google Analytics to count visits and Google AdSense to show ads that keep the site free. Both use cookies, and where the law requires it, we ask for your consent first.
- If you email us through the contact form, we use your details only to reply.
Who we are
This website, PrintTots ("we", "us"), is operated by PrintTots. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at hello@printtots.com or through our contact page.
Who this site is for
PrintTots is written for parents, caregivers and teachers. The worksheets and games are meant to be used by children with an adult. The site does not ask children for personal information, and they cannot create an account, post content or send messages through it.
Information we collect
Information you choose to send us
If you use the contact form, we receive your name, your email address, the topic you choose, and your message. We use them only to read and reply to your message. The form sends your message to our email inbox; it is not saved in the website's database. We keep correspondence only as long as we need it to deal with your request, and delete it within 12 months unless we need to keep it longer for a legal reason.
Please don't include information about your child in a message.
Worksheet and game settings
Worksheet settings such as the number range, paper size and a random "seed" number are stored in the page address (URL) so you can print or share the same worksheet again. These settings don't identify anyone. Game scores and answers stay in your browser and are not sent to us.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our web server keeps short technical logs (IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time). We use them to keep the site secure and working, and delete them after at most 30 days.
With your consent where required, Google Analytics and Google AdSense also collect information through cookies and similar technologies. This is described below and in our Cookie Policy.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which worksheets and guides are useful, for example how many people visit a page and which country they're in. We have IP anonymisation turned on (it is always on in Google Analytics 4), we don't send Google any names or email addresses, and we haven't turned on Google Signals or advertising features in Analytics. You can also opt out of Google Analytics on all websites with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
We show ads through Google AdSense so that the worksheets can stay free. Ads appear on web pages only, never on printed worksheets or downloaded PDFs.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your earlier visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's advertising cookies let Google and its partners serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google's My Ad Center. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info (or youronlinechoices.eu in Europe).
- Pages meant for children to use directly, such as our games, do not show personalized ads.
To learn how Google uses information from websites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Consent (EEA, UK and Switzerland)
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we use a Google-certified consent management platform to ask for your choices before any analytics or advertising cookies are set. If you decline, we show non-personalized ads and collect no analytics cookies. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.
Why we use your information (legal bases)
Where laws such as the GDPR, the UK GDPR or the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 apply, we rely on:
- Consent for analytics and advertising cookies, where consent is required.
- Legitimate interests for security logs and for replying to messages you send us.
Children's privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA and UK). Children can use the worksheets and games without giving any information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Sharing your information
We don't sell your personal information. We share information only with:
- Google, for analytics and advertising as described above;
- our web hosting and email providers, who process data for us to run the site;
- authorities, if the law requires it.
Some of these providers are located outside your country. Where required, they protect data with safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict how it's used, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your data protection authority (in the Philippines, the National Privacy Commission). California residents can ask what personal information we have and can opt out of the "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, including through Global Privacy Control signals.
To make a request, email hello@printtots.com. We will reply within 30 days.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS, and we keep as little personal information as possible. No website is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If we make significant changes, we'll also show a notice on the site.
